New-build student accommodation at Durham University is the latest location to benefit from the Pergo commercial flooring stable, over 2,800m2 of luxury vinyl utilised in varying styles from oak and pine to concrete and slate underfoot.
Versatility really was the buzzword on this latest installation, no fewer than four Pergo designs being used across the buildings in question, including Oxidised Metal Concrete, Black Scivaro Slate and Grey Heritage Oak gracing receptions, stairwells and communal areas such as dining rooms. Light Grey Chalet Pine was the star of the show, however, with over 2,000m2 of this design specified for use in 109 studio spaces where students will reside.
All four decors can be found within Pergo’s Premium Click vinyl portfolio, meaning various looks can be selected all holding the same levels of performance; a feat rarely found in a single LVT collection. The looks all boast a durable, easy-clean TitanV wear layer, along with a 20-year guarantee, meaning they’re ready to face up to inevitably high footfall and therefore maintain their stunning on-trend aesthetic for time to come.
