Can I install Pergo vinyl on top of an existing floor?

Yes, Pergo Vinyl floors can be installed on concrete floors, as well as on existing wood floors and tiles. Carefully read the installation instructions. In case of a floating installation, it might be necessary to remove the existing floor covering or to level the subfloor. In the case of glue down installation, some preparation work will need to be done. In most cases the existing floor covering will have to be removed. It may be necessary to level the subfloor, or to apply an appropriate primer.
