Should I choose an oiled or a lacquered floor?

This is more a matter of personal taste, but a lacquered surface offers better protection against dirt, scratches, etc. An oiled surface provides a nicely soft and natural look whilst a lacquered surface is harder and more resistant.

Our lacquered floors are coated with 7 protective layers, making them highly resistant to scratches and wear compared to other lacquered wood floors. The lacquer also makes our flooring dirt-repellent, easy to clean and resistant against water and household chemicals. Choose between satin or matt finish.

Oil really puts emphasis on the authenticity of real wood and gives it an extra matt look. With oil, you get a surface that will age gracefully.
